Dog groomers with professional experience will groom or bathe your dog at either your home or the groomer’s home. Like other services on Rover, you can search and browse groomer profiles, then send a request to a groomer.
You can choose from two types of grooming services:
- Full groom: A breed-specific haircut, shampoo, blow dry, brush, and nail trim
- Bath & brush: A shampoo, blow dry, brush, and nail trim
Note: Prices may vary depending on the size of your pet and the grooming service.
We're currently piloting grooming as a standalone service in the following cities only:
- Seattle, Tacoma, and Bellevue WA
- Miami, Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, Tampa, St. Petersburg,
and Clearwater, FL - Chicago, Naperville, and Elgin, IL
- Charlotte, Concord, and Gastonia, NC
- Atlanta, Sandy Springs, and Roswell, GA
How do I request to book with a groomer?
Here's how to request a grooming appointment:
- Go to Rover.com or open the Rover app and select Grooming from the list of services.
- Enter your zip code to find grooming professionals near you, then choose between a Full groom or Bath and brush.
- Browse groomer profiles to learn more about their experience, services and rates, accepted pet sizes, and their calendar availability.
- Once you find a grooming professional who seems like a good fit, select Contact at the bottom of their profile.
- Fill out the contact form to include information about your pet(s), their grooming needs, and preferred booking dates/times.
- When finished, hit Send request.
You won’t be charged until the booking is confirmed by you and your groomer.
How do I modify the booking?
If the request hasn’t been confirmed, you can make changes from the Pending section of your Rover inbox, then select Modify request. Make adjustments to the booking details, then select Update request.
If the booking has already been confirmed and paid for, send a message to your groomer directly through Rover. They can review and make changes if they accept the additional modifications.
What if I have to cancel my booking?
If the request hasn’t been booked yet, open the request from the conversation view and hit Cancel & archive.
