How do I edit stay dates and price?

In this article, we'll go over how to modify the dates and price:

Note: If the stay or walk has already been confirmed by both you and the pet owner, contact support to make changes.

 

Before Booking

After talking with a pet parent, you may realize that the service dates or price need to be adjusted prior to booking. You can do this easily, right in your conversation with the pet parent.

1. Navigate to your Inbox by selecting the envelope icon.



2. Select the correct conversation under Pending Requests.

3. Navigate to the gray box that displays the service details.

4. Select Edit next to the date or price you need to adjust.

If you are editing the dates: When you select Edit, a pop-up calendar will appear. Choose the correct dates. The price will automatically adjust.



If you are editing the price: When you select Edit, a pop-up box will appear. Here you can change from standard to holiday rates, add pricing for any additional services you offer, and make cost adjustments. Select Ok.

5. Select Book It Now. You’re all set!

 

After Booking

If the stay or walk has already been confirmed by both you and the pet owner, contact support to make changes.

If you only one of you has selected the Book It Now button, don’t worry—you can still make adjustments. Here’s how:

1. Navigate to your Inbox by selecting the envelope icon.

2. Select the correct conversation under Pending Requests.

3. Navigate to the gray box that displays the service details.

4. Select Decline Request.

Important: Selecting Decline Request will not cancel the entire booking, it just stops the Request Expires clock and allows you to edit service details. Your client will get an email notifying them of the declined request, so it’s a good idea to message them directly and assure them that you’re simply editing the dates and/or price as discussed.

5. You can now edit the stay dates and price.

6. If you're editing the dates: When you select Edit, a pop-up calendar will appear. Choose the correct dates. The price will automatically adjust.

7. If you're editing the price: When you select Edit, a pop-up box will appear. Here you can change from standard to holiday rates, add pricing for any additional services you offer, and make cost adjustments. Select Ok.

8. Select Book It Now. You’re all set!
