We're offering owners the chance to book 1:1 in-person dog training on Rover. Dog training can take place in an owner's home or at a convenient public space like a park.
Booking with a trainer on Rover is similar to booking any other service on Rover. Here’s how:
- From the Rover app, select Services and then select Dog Training. If you’re using a computer, go to the Rover homepage, and from the Dog Training banner, select Find a trainer.
- Look through trainers in your area. Use the filters from the side menu to narrow your search.
- Select the trainer's profile from search results to learn more about their education, experience, and their areas of specialty.
- If they seem like a good fit, send a request by selecting the Contact button from their profile.
- Select your training preferences, pets, and contact information. Then select Next.
- Choose the date and time you’d like to book training, then select Send request.
- Add your address and select Save and Continue.
- Add your payment method. You won’t be charged until your training is confirmed by your trainer.
- Click Save & Continue.
Once you submit all of your information, the trainer will review your request and respond, typically within 24 hours. If they accept your request, you can both confirm a time and plan your session through the Rover booking.
Note: Some trainers may require a virtual or in-person consultation before booking the first training session. If they do, they will contact you via Rover Messages to schedule this.
