In jurisdictions where Rover is required by law to collect and remit state and local taxes, we calculate these taxes and collect them from pet owners when a booking is made for pet care services. Rover then directly pays collected taxes to the applicable tax authority.
Currently, Rover is collecting and remitting taxes in the following locations outlined below. Customers who book pet care services in these states will pay tax as part of their booking.
