The Rover Now team reviews cancellations holistically. If we see a consistent pattern of last-minute cancellations, you may no longer be eligible to participate in Rover Now services.
What if I need to cancel due to an emergency?
We understand that on rare occasions plans may change unexpectedly which could prevent you from completing a service. If you find yourself in this situation, here is what to do:
- Let Rover Now support know right away by submitting a cancellation. This article explains how to cancel.
- Inform your client through your Rover Messages that you are unable to make the walk or drop-in.
What's the cancellation policy for owners?
Rover Now adheres to Rover’s flexible cancellation policy, allowing a client to cancel their service at any time before the walk or drop-in without a cancellation fee.
Will I be penalized if I cancel a service on behalf of my client?
If an owner asks you to cancel their service for them, you won’t be penalized for it. When you submit the cancellation through the app, you’ll be able to specify that the owner needed to cancel.
