At this time, it isn't possible to edit the date, time, or care instructions for confirmed Rover Now booking. However, we've got some workarounds you can follow to ensure that your request includes all of your pet care needs! Check out the tips below.
Including last-minute notes for your pet care provider
Need to add a few more details about your pet for an upcoming booking? Follow up with your sitter or walker directly via Rover Messages and add any additional notes that weren't included at the time of your request.
Changing the date and/or time of your walk
To change the date or start time of your Rover Now walk, contact your pet care provider to see if they’re available for the adjusted date and time. If they are, contact Rover Now Support and we’ll update the booking for you.
If your your pet care provider is unavailable for the new dates, submit a cancellation request. Once you cancel your current booking, create a new request for the new date and time.
Modifying home access instructions
If you need to adjust your home access instructions, such as your lockbox code, you can edit it directly from the booking page.
1. Visit the Rover Now booking page and select Location & Home Access.
2. From here, visit Home Access Instructions and select Edit. When you're done editing, select Save Changes. These revisions will be automatically updated for any current requests you have.
Note: The next time you request a walk, you’ll have the opportunity to update any instructions or notes. That information will be saved for all future requests you make.
