How can I leave a review and set walker/sitter preferences with Rover Now?

Note: Currently, Rover Now is only available in select cities. Learn more about Rover Now here.

Once your Rover Now booking is complete, you can review your pet care provider and list them as a preferred walker or sitter through the Rover app. The next time you request a walk, we’ll notify them first if they’re available.

Leaving a review

  1. Sign in to the Rover app, then tap Inbox.
  2. Select the name of your pet care provider, then scroll down and select a star rating next to Leave Review.



Setting walker/sitter preferences

Once you select a star rating for your walker/sitter, you can set preferences which will be applied to future booking requests. To turn on a preference, tap the toggle icon next to the option you want to activate. The toggle will change from gray (inactive) to green (active). 



 To add a preferred walker/sitter, tap the toggle icon next to their name below the review. 




If you don't want to book with someone in the future, you can also select Don’t send me [pet care provider] again. They won't be able to see or book your future walk requests.



After you set your preferences, you have the option to write a review in the Public Review section. This written review will be visible on your pet care provider's profile. 

When finished, tap Submit at the bottom of your screen.

Note: Any feedback you provide to Rover privately will not be visible or made public.
