What should I do if I’m running late for a Rover Now walk?

Rover Now walks are a bit different from other services on Rover, because you often won’t meet your clients in person before the scheduled walks. To build trust with your client and ensure that you they have a positive experience with the Rover Now service, it’s important that you arrive on time for all of your booked walks. 

If you’re running late for a walk:

  • Be communicative with the client, even if you’re running late by a few minutes. Keeping the owner actively informed is a great way to earn their trust and demonstrate that you’re doing everything you can to care for their dog in a timely manner.

 

  • Stay in communication with Rover. If you haven’t started your walk by the scheduled time, the Rover Support team will check in via text message. This will allow us to assist both you and the owner if necessary.
