How do I manage my inbox in the mobile app?

Your inbox is separated into four categories to help you keep track of your requests. Here, we'll go over how to access your inbox on your iOS or Android phone and what each category means.

 

How to access your inbox

iPhone

  1. Open the app
  2. Tap the inbox envelop in the bottom left corner of the screen. If you have any pending requests or upcoming stays, they’ll appear here. To view any archived requests or past stays, tap the folder icon in the upper left corner of the screen.

Android phone

  1. Open the app.
  2. Tap the hamburger bar menu in the upper left corner of the screen. Your four inbox categories will now be displayed.

Pending Requests are request that haven't been booked yet.

When an owner sends a request, it will appear here until it’s booked or archived. If you're unable to accommodate a booking, we always recommend still replying to the customer, then archiving the request. Here’s how to archive a request:

  1. Open request.
  2. Tap Details in the upper right corner of screen.
  3. On iPhone, tap Archive. On Android, tap arrow icon.
  4. Select the reason for archiving the request.

Upcoming Stays are requests you have booked that are current or upcoming. Once a booking is listed in this section of your inbox, that means that your client has paid for the request and that you have accepted the request as well.

Past Stays are past bookings that have already occurred.

Archived requests are requests you received that were never booked or bookings which were cancelled. If you need to unarchive a current or future request, here’s how:

  1. Open request.
  2. Tap Details in the upper right corner of screen.
  3. On iPhone, tap Unarchive. On Android, tap arrow icon.
