How do I manage my availability in the mobile app?

Whether you're hoping to take on more requests or simply need to change your availability for a planned vacation, it's a good idea to keep your availability up to date on Rover. That way, you only receive requests you can accept.

There are two ways to manage your availability on your profile:

  • Update your calendar. Use this when you need to modify your availability for specific days.
  • Turn on Away mode. This is a helpful tool to use if you plan to be away for a longer period of time.

Manage calendar availability

For iPhones:

  1. Tap the More icon.
  2. Tap Calendar.
  3. Tap the date you need to update. From here, you can mark the entire day as unavailable, or adjust the number of slots offered for each service, by selecting Edit.
  4. When you are finished editing your availability, select Save.

For Android phones:

  1. Tap the three-lined menu in the upper left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap Availability calendar.
  3. Tap the date or date range you would like to update your availability for. Then, select the pencil icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
  4. Mark the entire date(s) as unavailable, or adjust the number of slots offered for each service.
  5. When you are finished editing your availability, select Save.

Turn on Away mode

If you offer multiple services and you’d like to set yourself away for all of them, you’ll need to turn on Away mode for each service. You can turn this off at any time once you're available to accept requests again.

For iPhones

  1. Tap More.
  2. Select Modify Services.
  3. Scroll down to the service you want to manage.
  4. Tap the toggle next to Away mode, turning the icon green.

For Android phones

  1. Tap the three-lined menu in the upper left corner of the screen.
  2. Tap Profile and select the pencil icon in the upper right corner.
  3. Select Services, then scroll down to each service you want to manage.
  4. Tap the toggle icon next to  Away mode, turning the icon green.

Repeat these steps for any other active services you want to manage your availability for.
